We are collabotating with UCD School of Education this year, providing work placements for students enrolled on their BEd with Gaeilge and/or Modern Languages Programme.
Students from this course will complete a school placement in Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua with our 5th and 6th classes from Jan-April 2024. A language project will be completed during this placement. (One class will do French and the other class will do Spanish). The student teachers will plan and lead language-related activities with the children. This project is designed to make language learning engaging and culturally enriching for primary school children.
