Deputy Principal

Hello, I’m Helen. I come from Dublin. I have been teaching here since 2017 having previously spent 7 years teaching in Gaelscoil Chill Mhantáin.I completed the Postgraduate with Hibernia College in 2010. I recently completed another postgraduate course in School Leadership which has helped me so much in my role as Deputy Principal. I have a huge love for the Irish Language. I myself attended Irish language schools and I see the benefits afforded to children who learn through Irish. I love my job. We have a fantastic hard working team here in Sliabh Rua and the most fantastic children. I am delighted to be part of the growth and development of the school and look forward to seeing it go from strength to strength in the coming years.
