Letter from the Principal

My name is Ruth Mhic Adaim and I would like to introduce myself as the principal of Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua. I have been involved in education for 21 years and have been a part of this school since it opened with 8 children in 2013. For the first two years I was chairperson on the board of management, then in 2015 I was appointed as a teacher and deputy principal. My son was one of the original 8 children who started in 2013. 

Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua is a multi-denominational Gaelscoil. We provide a high standard of education through the medium of Irish. We foster a culture of respectfulness and inclusivity while placing an emphasis on the quality of relationships between pupils, staff and parents/guardians.  

It has been an honour and a privilege to be a central part of the development and growth of Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua since 2013. Our school is going from strength to strength and I am very proud of where we are now.
